Now, im not sure if this is going to be changed, but if you people are paranoid just because of the name, add the Script Extender\ 4gb Patch shortcut in the steam, rename it Fallout: New Vegas and calm down your OCD. Now, lets go further, due to 1C bieng a primeraly Russian company it would seem that they said: We translated the game, we translated the DLC, now this is an official Russian version, give us credit! And as such, they did, due to the game version now having Russian language they gave it a name tag RU, gave the DLC name: "(1C)" and went with it. Now, mind this: None of this has any bases, pure speculation, and im not bulding up hate for iether company, just keep this in mind. Or, which is more likely: 1C said: "We want our work to be credited, so you better make a damn good job of that, or we gona go to cort!"

Now, it seems that iether Bathesda went and said: "Okay, we gona take another jab at a game that is 2 times better then fallout 3 and 4". Now, this might be thiere fault, for those who are outside of Russia, Ukrain or Republic of Belarus (and even then im not sure if 1C got thiere product in those countries), 1C is a big publishing company from Russia, they translate games and also have 2 developer teams for making thiere own games.

Now, people this might not be Bathesda fault, take a look at the DLC tab and you might notice somthing, on every DLC there is a litle (1C). The game did not receive any updates, and can still be played in in English, the game did not receive any updates and as such the mods should not be affected, then why every one is freaking out?īecause they all got placed in the RU community hub, and i get that, many people in this forum from the Europe and have cultural bindings to their country, strong patriotism and other feverish feelings, or they just hate that the already perfect name in the steam tab now kinda messed up with 2 uppercase letters. What is wrong then? Well, i think i know the issue.

I did not get any error messages on startup and the game retained the English language, so, it all seems fine and dandy.

So, it appears the name of the game in steam and as well as the forum has changed, after launching the game and checking the game i noticed a couple of things: Nothing has changed, the mods are working so far, especially script heavy like project Nevada or in game mod manager.
